GLIDER PILOT TRAINING
Gliding is an inexpensive form of flying and an exceptionally valuable stepping stone to a career as a professional pilot, whether it be with the Air Force or as a Commercial Pilot.
Kingaroy Soaring provides glider pilot training from Abinitio Training right through to Cross Country Soaring. We have a modern fleet of aircraft including the latest DG1001 Neo two seat-trainer. Our modern fleet is complemented by highly experienced instructors. As a student at Kingaroy Soaring, you will have access to excellent facilities including training ops room, onsite accommodation, commercial kitchen, and licensed bar.
Kingaroy Soaring enjoys all year round soaring. Located 120km from the coast our soaring time is longer hence more training can be achieved in a day accelerating your progression to solo pilot.
