Kingaroy Soarings facilities includes a comfortable clubhouse featuring good cooking facilities and relaxing bar area. Accommodation is available in the club bunkhouse. It caters for families and groups.

It was purchased new from the Schempp-Hirth factory in Europe and arrived in Australia in October 2007. It has improvements over it's predecessor such as sprung undercarriage, trailing edge flap, Maughmer winglets and 20m wing span and is considered to be an all-round glider for competition as well as club operations.
Instrumentation includes a Borgelt B500 Vario/Nav with a PDA interface 5 volt DB9 plug.

It was the first sailplane designed and serially produced by Grob. It features composite (fiberglass/resin) construction, a large wing area, a T-tail and water ballast. A Standard Class Sailplane, the large wing area gives good low speed handling characteristics.

A two seat training glider of moderate performance (34/1), also certified for aerobatics and cloud flying. It is the longest continuous production fiberglass trainer in the world. It is known for it's very lovely flight characteristics and climb abilities in weak lift.

Has served the Club well for many years. The powerplant has been upgraded to a 180hp for improved performance and the exterior recently underwent a major refurbshment. Many thanks to Darryl & Neill who led the team and all those who provided the much needed assistance.

Powered for many years by a V6 Ford engine has proven the concept and benefits of water-cooled engines for tug aircraft. Such has been the success that it is currently undergoing a makeover which will see it flying again soon powered by a modern alloy 6 litre GM V8. Many thanks to Dave Sharples and Rob Butler for their dedication and enthusiasm to the project.
